[attr="class","woo3"] It was the first time she had ever seen a lake that was frozen, probably due to the abundance of ice type Pokemon that could be found here. Percival walked beside her though he had a bit of trouble with trying to keep his balance with the icy, slippery waters of the lake that they were walking on. Dealing with Pokemon that couldn't evolve wasn't going to fare well with her current team, so this was an opportunity to train her shiny Aron, so that he could help her catch those Pokemon with ease. Sleets of hail rained down from above, but she had donned a warm jacket before she had made the trip here which was useful in battling the cold.[break][break] Her shiny Aron shivered a little from the cold as his red eyes gazed upon the frozen area for interlopers. With the recent addition of Aria the Swablu, she had to take great care of not letting overconfidence get the best of her. Expanding her team meant that she had a lot of other Pokemon to train, especially the starter Pokemon she was given from day one of starting Pokemon training.

[attr="class","woo3"] There was a little oink oink sound that got Percival on guard as a Swinub had been coming their way. She didn't get a chance to visit Johto in order to see it, but it was nice to see a new Pokemon she hadn't seen before. As much as she would like to have a powerful Mamoswine which was deemed a rideable Pokemon, she really needed to train her shiny Aron and get him to the point where he could effectively net her a better chance of catching something like that Drampa she encountered last time with Alex. Still, she was looking for one Pokemonn which was the regional variant of Vulpix native to Alola.[Break][break] "Percival, let's attack with Iron Head!" The little steel beast nodded as he ran with all his might to ram the wild Swinub with his head. The move scored a hit as the wild brown pig Pokemon was sent sliding across the ice until it stopped. Its eyes remained shut as it then fell into unconsciousness from the attack. Decided to leave it be for now, she walked away from the downed Swinub with Percival following her.

[attr="class","woo3"] Percival wasn't looking where he was going until he bumped into something. He apologized to the Pokemon he bumped into until he was in front of a white fox-like Pokemon. Icy blue orbs stared at his red ones until the fox growled with annoyance. "Ah, I'm sorry. He didn't mean to bump into you!" Unfortunately, her attempts at trying to communicate with the Alolan Vulpix only ended in the fox Pokemon becoming more agitated. They really had no choice, but to fight. Considering that this was the Pokemon she was looking for, she had to take the initiative to calm it down some.[Break][break] "I suppose we have no choice... Let's strike with Iron Head!" Red eyes narrowed as the shiny Aron used the slippery ground to increase the movement speed and tried to ram the fox headfirst. However, the Alolan Vulpix was faster as it had seemingly vanished into thin air during the shower of hail which covered its tracks. Percival's eyes widened as he tried to stop the momentum from slipping away from his trainer, and he succeeded while he looked frantically for the opponent. It would take mere moments before the Alolan Vulpix had appeared right behind him, opening its mouth to shoot a beam of bright rainbow colors at the shiny Aron.[Break][break] Taken by the surprise attack, Percival shut his eyes from the cold that had overtaken his iron armor though it would do little to faze him even if he had been damaged from the attack and the shower of hail. "Retaliate back with Iron Head!" At her command, his red eyes opened into a fierce stare as he charged forward again. This time, the headfirst assault earned a direct hit as the fox Pokemon was thrown back from the impact and was immediately downed. At that moment, she tossed one of her empty Pokeballs at the Alolan Vulpix in an attempt to quell its agitated state.

[attr="class","woo3"] With the Pokeball confirming its capture, Percival nudged the Pokeball to her hand just as it was sent to the PC in a flash of white light. Continuing across the frozen lake as the shower of hail showed no signs of stopping anytime soon, a black weasel-like Pokemon with elongated white claws decided to stop them in their tracks. Although she hadn't had the chance to see one in her home, it was quite the sight to see this Pokemon try to look thuggish in front of her as some dark type Pokemon tended to do. Percival's red eyes gazed at the Pokemon, intending to protect his trainer from harm.[Break][break] "Good timing. Our trip wouldn't go to waste without getting more battle experience with this wild Pokemon. Though I would regret not having the chance to catch it, I believe it should be good for you to train against it. Attack that Sneasel with Iron Head!" As the little oddly colored beast used the slippery ice to propel himself forward, he scored a direct hit on the Sneasel's torso. The wild weasel-like Pokemon gave out a wheeze as it was sent crashing onto the ground. Percival shut his eyes for a moment as the hail dropped down and damaged him. Battered and bruised, it did not stop the Sneasel from using its prowess with the icy environment to send shards of ice towards the opposition. [Break][break] Frankly, it did nothing to faze him as it had barely scratched his iron armored body. "Let's cap it off with Iron Head one more time, Percival!" With another more powerful headbutt from his steely head, it was enough to send the Sneasel flying across the air, and landed with a thud. With that, the battle was over and Percival was the victor. Patting the shiny Aron's head, she would come back to where she had first came from all the way back to the Pokemon Center to heal her Aron's injuries.[Break][break] -exit thread-
