To be honest, he had not expected Eevee to be so tenacious! Bright blue orbs were set upon the brown furry Pokemon that was bounding about happily. The Eevee had been in such a good mood, she even was doing more of a confident dance than lately. Right front and back left, and then the reverse, and then another with the last set. The Pokemon trotted around happily after leaving its stamping feet in the sand while forcing forward from a Double-Edge attack. The Lopunny that was at Orchid’s side had folded her arms and watched carefully. It was hard to see what was on the rabbit’s mind at times like this. It was either sheer jealousy or stalwart admiration.
“What do you think, Bun-chan?” Orchid would turn his attention to the rabbit Pokemon, “Maybe you two will fight side-by-side in double battles?”
The rabbit Pokemon had stopped at this moment. Her eyes lifting wide! By the time they would turn to Orchid, they would slant conveying nothing short of rage. The beady orbs of the black rabbit would finally turn their attention to the Eevee that had been trotting about. The Pokemon’s path was cut off as the rabbit Pokemon had blocked its path and stood right before it. It’s little paws drew upward, ready to fight...and this did not surprise Orchid.
“Great...maybe I should not have said anything.” His lips twisting before finally going to the Eevee. “Fine! We will just show her how strong you have become! Eve-chan! Use your Double Edge on Lopunny!”
With the usual swagger in its step, it would stop in place and pick up its hind. The tale would sweep through the air before finally sweeping and beating the sands of the beach. The Eevee charged forth as it would aim to crash into the Lopunny whom was drawing back its fist, its paw glowing, and beady eyes glaring as if it was going to meet the charge head on. Pride was in its pose as the Eevee draw close…
An impact of fist and the bright body of the fox Pokemon would collide! The Eevee would slide back while the Lopunny would stamp its feet to plant itself firm. The two Pokemon would stare at each other, but their attitudes so different that Orchid would not help but to notice something admirable about it. The Lopunny ambitious and the Eevee determined. Either way, they stood perfectly still as if they were ready to collide again.
“They have come a long way….”
