She did have half a mind to train the newly caught Zorua, but on another hand, training her shiny Lairon came first. She did recall many trainers back home admiring the strength of an Aggron, so there was a reason to have a hulking, metal dinosaur-like Pokemon to use in a gym match. As the green-colored steel beast briskly walked beside her, the atmosphere still made her shiver. There was also a chance that the ghost type Pokemon here would aggressively pursue after the duo, so Percival himself was on the lookout.[Break][break] The silver moon shined its light across what appeared to be abandoned buildings of a lost city. With the occupants not being here to grace those rickety old buildings with their own presence, there was a slight feeling of something watching them always.

[attr="class","woo3"] A white flash had stopped the duo from proceeding further which was a Pokemon she was familiar with while on her travels to Lilycove City. The mammalian white Pokemon growled at the trainer and her Lairon, this one seemed to be protecting its territory from the trespassers that dared to come across it. As the disaster Pokemon, Absol were largely misunderstood and she understood why its own warnings weren't heeded. Percival stepped in between the two of them as he stared at the Absol, possibly wanting to challenge it without a care for his own safety.[break][break] "Percival, use Iron Head!" With Amaryllis' command, the steel type beast charged towards the wild Absol headfirst. The attack made a direct hit as the wild Pokemon was skidding across the ground, but not before fiercely wanting to stand its ground. If she didn't have a Dark type Pokemon with her, perhaps its own determination was something she could've had on her own team. Absol's horn began to glow pink as it swung its head in a circular motion, a crescent-shaped wave proceeded to make its way to the shiny Lairon as it tried to make a gash on Percival's armor. [break][break] The beast itself didn't seem to be fazed by the attack as Amy gave another order. "Attack that Absol with Rock Slide this time!" As the orbs of energy that the shiny Lairon created began turning into slabs of rock, those slabs were launched at the wild Absol. The wild mammalian Pokemon was sent crashing onto the ground as it would look battered though it had another trick up its sleeve. Absol's red orbs glowed with a blue aura as it would then fade away as if it had seen the future with its extraordinary powers of disaster prediction. [break][break] Since the wild Pokemon was struggling to get up, she could finish it off with another attack from her green-colored Lairon. "Finish it off with Earthquake!" The earthen ground shook with such intensity as Percival used his feet to stomp onto the ground. It was enough for the Absol to lose its balance and fall over unconscious after the tremors of the earth stopped.

[attr="class","woo3"] As soon as they both continued on their nightly stroll, another Pokemon came to greet them. This Pokemon was familiar as it was one of the Pokemon that fighting type gym leader at Dewford Town used. It wasn't happy to see her either, probably since it had been training by its lonesome and needed that quietness to concentrate. Since it was a fighting type Pokemon, her shiny Lairon was weak to the fighting type moves it might possess. The white-haired girl took out another Pokeball from her bag and pressed the button. "Looks like we're going to need your help, Veronica." The red beam of light flashed on the ground, but instead of appearing like a little black fox, Veronica had taken the form of Jeanne.[break][break] The 'Drampa' laughed as the Meditite looked confused as ever, not knowing that this Pokemon was not a Drampa at all. "Veronica, use Night Daze and Percival, you help out with Iron Head!" Veronica moved first as she made the first move in her state caused by her unique ability to transform into other Pokemon. Reeling back her head, the large dragon-like Pokemon sent forth a wave of dark energy which made the Meditite shut its eyes from the pain coursing through its body. Then the Meditite was hit hard on its torso by the shiny Lairon giving his opponent a powerful headbutt as it was sent flying into a statue.[break][break] It was over in a flash as the wild Pokemon slumped over in its exhaustive state. With that, she returned Veronica back inside the confines of her Pokeball in case she was needed again. She sighed as she continued on into the ruined city while Percival gave her a sympathetic look before pressing on with her.

[attr="class","woo3"] Rubbing her eyes from a bit of exhaustion during the darkness of the night, Percival's red eyes looked over at the silhoutte which moved towards her. Percival blinked as the Pokemon showed itself which it didn't look like it was angry at them. In fact, she knew that the Pokemon before her was the pre-evolution of Wobbuffet. It was one of the baby Pokemon introduced to her region although she would feel bad about fighting a baby Pokemon. Other regions must've had baby Pokemon like Wynaut, but her own shiny Lairon seemed to not mind fighting with it.[break][break] She spoke to the little blue Pokemon as gently as she could. Since it was a Psychic-type Pokemon, Veronica's help would certainly be appreciated as she sent out the Zorua disguised as a "Drampa". "I don't mind playing with you, but I hope you can forgive me if I am going too hard on you. Veronica, assist with Night Daze and Percival, let's use Iron Head!" With no hesitation, Veronica as the "Drampa" reeled back her head as a wave of dark energy made the Wynaut squeal in pain as the shiny Lairon proceeded to run straight at the blue baby Pokemon. [break][break] The little Wynaut immediately dropped down to the ground as it lied there in an unconscious state. It was certain that the Pokemon she was seeking didn't appear, so after returning Veronica back inside the Pokeball, Amaryllis would head straight back to her quarters.
